Charlotte Harrington averaged 10 points, 8 rebounds, and 2 steals in leading the Cavaliers girls
basketball team in a pair of victories. Coach Ryan Hutchison said the senior forward’s “hustle
and intensity on the court is unmatched.”

Wrestling
Chris Brooks was recognized with the Outstanding Wrestler award in the 132-pound weight
class at New Town High School’s “Clash of the Titans” tournament. The senior team captain
went 9-0 in the tournament, and won all ten of his matches during the week with seven pins to
raise his season record to a perfect 12-0.

Wrestling at 144 pounds, sophomore Beau Snell had a successful week for Man Valley. He
began the week with a pin in 1:40 against C.M. Wright. Then he went on to record a 9-win and
8-pin performance at the Bauerlein Duals. That takes Beau’s overall record to 11 wins with no
losses and 10 pins to start his season for the Mavs wrestling squad.
